How to ♥ Love ♥ Your Job!

Happy Valentine’s Day!
Have you “lost the spark” at work? Don’t worry, it happens to many of us! Going to work on a regular basis can get monotonous and seem very routine, but there are few ways to feel the love again!
Check out some suggestions below on how to love your job this Valentine’s Day:
Decorate your desk area. If you’re able to, decorating your desk area is a great way to make work seem more comfortable and homey. Bring in some photos of your family and friends, or hang up a cute calendar! Looking at things you like can relax you when work gets stressful.
Change up your morning routine. Do you do the same thing every morning before work? Change it up! Maybe wake up early to sit and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. Or take a different route to work. Do you take the train to work? Try walking or biking! Little changes in your routine can alter your perspective and make your workday seem less daunting.
Have lunch or coffee with a friend. Are you having a tough morning? Go out with a friend or family member! Internalizing bad feelings is never a good thing, especially at work. Try venting your frustrations to others. It is very therapeutic and a great way to get over a problem and move on.
Take a walk. Not only can walking improve your health, but it can also help improve your mood! Going for a walk during a lunch break at work is a great way to stretch your legs, get some fresh air and clear your mind. (If you want to really improve your mood, take your shoes off and walk barefoot in the grass!)
Sit up straight. Did you know that sitting up straight can help you have a better workday? Studies show that good posture at work can help make you more alert and put you in a better mood. So, next time you find yourself slumping over at your desk, lift your shoulders, sit up straight, and watch your mood improve!
