The SCSEP is the only federally funded program that provides low-income seniors with resources to help them seamlessly reenter the workforce. Through SCSEP, seniors receive paid, part-time community service positions and work-based training at local nonprofit organizations.
“National Able Network is excited to provide the SCSEP in Delaware’s New Castle County as a sub-grantee of Delaware Health and Social Services, Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities. We are looking forward to meeting and working with program participants and host agencies to develop collaborative services that includes career training which will help participants achieve employment and self-sufficiency. Our new Program Manager, Christopher Waters, is a native of Wilmington, Del. and brings a wealth of knowledge and ideas to this program,” said Vice President of Workforce Services and Development, Patricia Wilkins.
