“I could not have done it without the help and support of National Able Network.”

Today marks the last day of Older Americans Month. Throughout the month of May, we showcased our successful senior clients who are “Blazing a Trail” in their lives! (Visit our Facebook page to see how our clients are Blazing a Trail!) For our final Older Americans Month blog post, our client Dana Linscott authored his own post about how he is blazing a trail in his career by earning his General Equivalency Diploma (GED)!
Read more in Dana’s self-authored post, below:
“My name is Dana Linscott. Four years ago, I found myself unemployed and ended up at the Goodwill Belfast Career Center. It was then that I was referred to the Senior Community Service Employment Program at National Able Network. My first assignment was with the Belfast Soup Kitchen, and after that I started a different assignment with the Goodwill Store in Belfast.
These two experiences helped boost my self-esteem. I one day realized I have always struggled to find employment when I didn’t even have a high school diploma or even my GED. So, I decided to finally do something about it. I started taking classes through adult education in Belfast in order to obtain my High School Diploma. With the help of National Able Network, I have received the support necessary to achieve my goals of finishing high school, while at the same time participating in a paid training that has been helping me gain skills and continued confidence.
I am now assigned to Belfast Community Television and training with talented and knowledgeable people that are helping me with my goals. I will officially be a high school graduate as of June 1, 2016. I have no doubt that soon after that I will become employed and be able to say, ‘I could not have done it without the help and support of National Able Network and all the wonderful people I have met along the way.'”
I am looking for the: National Able Network SCSEP Payroll Schedule for 2016-2017. It gives the beginning, ending, Time-sheet Due dates and Pay Dates. All I can find is a calendar that has dates with words on it for things that have nothing to do with payroll.
Hi Kay,
Thanks for reaching out! For more information on the SCSEP program, please call 855-994-8300.
Thanks,
Megan
I need my information for the payroll, my id and the other one I need I don’t have either one yet
