National Able Network: 200 Published Blog Posts (And Counting!)

National Able Network’s first blog post was published on November 20, 2013. Since that day, our staff, clients, and partners have authored more than 200 additional blog posts! As the curator of this blog (some people refer to me as “The Blog Mother”), I feel a personal sense of accomplishment and pride when looking back on all of the wonderful people that have contributed to the blog’s success. That is perhaps the greatest aspect of this blog – the myriad of voices, viewpoints, and lifestyles featured in each post.
That being said, keeping a quality blog running for two and a half years with multiple authors and contributors is a very intricate process and hard work. I definitely could not have done it without the support from my amazing co-workers (especially the support of the IT Department). Managing the blog on a daily basis and working with staff, clients, and partners has helped me grow in my career. When the blog was created, I was a Marketing & Development Intern and now I am the Senior Communications Specialist (yesterday was my two year anniversary of being a full-time Able employee!). In addition, the blog has helped enhance my skills as a writer and editor. It has also helped to strengthen my endurance, confidence, active listening skills, and persuasion abilities.
Thank you to all of our blog readers and authors for your continued support! I’m looking forward to the next 200 blog posts!
