Vice President of Workforce Development
Patricia Wilkins joined National Able Network, Inc., in October of 2005 as a manager of programs for mature workers. Ms. Wilkins quickly applied her expertise and exemplary leadership skills in the administration of the federal and state subgranted Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). Ms. Wilkins is nationally regarded as an expert in the administration of SCSEP, and has been recognized by the US Department of Labor for Able’s high performance. Recognizing her strong ability as a results-driven team player and her true skill and talent as a project manager, Able promoted Ms. Wilkins to the executive team as the Vice President of Senior Services and Training and Quality. She presently provides oversight to more than 45 full-time and part-time staff in five states, and manages program budgets totaling $16M. Ms. Wilkins is responsible for ensuring Able’s mission and vision are incorporated in all aspects of programming while identifying areas for future growth and development.
With extensive project management experience in social service organizations as well as management of multiple projects for Fortune 500 Companies, Ms. Wilkins found her passion lies within working with social service organizations dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives. Outside of the workplace, Ms. Wilkins is actively involved in community and civic organizations and serves on the board of ProjectGo, an organization whose mission is to strengthen the connection between families, schools and communities.
Ms. Wilkins graduated from Columbia College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. She received a Masters Certification in Project Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology. Currently, she is pursuing a Masters Degree in Public Administration.
